Event Details
The documentary film DON’T THINK I’VE FORGOTTEN: CAMBODIA’S LOST ROCK AND ROLL (2014, 1h 45min), by John Pirozzi, is about Cambodian rock music in the 1960s and 1970s, before the Khmer Rouge regime and Cambodian genocide.
The film is most successful as an examination of the way that art reacts to social upheaval and reflects the political power system, mutating to fit the reality of our lives whether we like it or not.
