Berlin’s techno culture is officially recognized by the German UNESCO Commission as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Added in March 2024, the designation celebrates techno as the “soundtrack of liberation” that united a newly unified city after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Let’s celebrate “Sound of Berlin” in South-East-Asia: DJs Tommy Schultz & Nick E. Meta (Germany), Sao Sopheak & Sammy X. (Cambodia) invite Phu-Quoc-based colleagues Steffen Sonnenschein and Dennox, accompanied by Miani (Vietnam) for a long Friday party night in two locations.
