Carl Henry Flanagan – former member of several Manchester post punk rock bands – becomes Graham Whittaker, a complex character who still lives with his mother and is a paranoid schizophrenic; a repressed man who relates to the audience how his cosy existence was threatened by his mother’s past lover.
