German war photographers Horst Faas (1933 – 2012) and his Australian colleague Tim Page (1944 – 2022) have gathered many thousands of pictures by those who were killed in the Indochina Wars. This resulted in the book “Requiem”, published in 1997.
In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Pol Pot’s accession to power, Meta House – in partnership with the German Embassy in Phnom Penh – invites you to the exhibition ”Requiem”, featuring stunning black-and-white-photograohy by late Cambodian photojournlists THONG VEASNA, SOU VICHITH, TEA KIM HEANG, CHHOR VUTHY, and KUOY SARUN.
