Mute Speaker is finally back in Phnom Penh armed with a case of records for an eclectic vinyl set. Expect soul, funk, old school hip hop, afrobeat, cumbia, reggae, Khmer classics & more.
Hailing from UK / Ireland, Mute Speaker has been releasing music for over 10 years, working both on his own productions & collaborative projects. Working predominantly within the sphere of hip-hop, but incorporating many different styles & genres
into his beats, be it through samples or influence with percussion & the use of effects.

Mute Speaker draws from vintage soul, Asian, African, Caribbean, Central American & Arabic music, fuzzy psych rock, & dub – and his DJ sets can incorporate all of the above & more.
