“The Art of Mind, Illustrating the Unspeakable” is an art exhibition created by a band of students and artists who wish to speak out about the stigma against mental health. To this day, the topic is still taboo in Cambodian society and many feel that it is better to keep it within themselves rather than speak about it openly or seek professional help. However, we believe that this is not a healthy approach to dealing with internal issues, and with this exhibition, we’ve decided to take a bold approach to express ourselves despite the stigma in the hopes of ending discrimination and encouraging empathy and understanding for one another.
