Alienation from society is in fact cultural estrangement which promotes the breakdown of the common culture, manifested in a lack of commitment and bad manners. Young German photographer Aberwitz believes that humans on Earth are like ants on a pomegranate. His multi-media-exhibition “Knigge” (named after a traditional German book around the right ‘etiquette’) investigates playfully how humans interact with each other – or how they don’t… The consists of 23 photos, a video poem, and a slideshow. Images have been produced in Germany, Italy, Estonia, and Phnom Penh.
