“Sleepy” Kampot in Southern Cambodia has long enjoyed a reputation as one of Cambodia’s party hotspots, with a large expat community enjoying the free and easy Kampot life and it’s weekly schedule of parties, bar-hopping and more. During the COVID19 pandemic the coastal town was popular with SE Asian party nomads and post-hippies, who successfully escaped the strict rules which were imposed elsewhere. Russian documentarian Linda Rosenfeld – who came to fame with her award-winning free-diving docu “Dubliner” – was there… and shot a film. “ This film is a musical postcard of freedom to the world”, writes Linda. When the whole world was on lockdown, we had a chance to experience the ultimate freedom!”
