Jim Gerrand’s CAMBODIA KAMPUCHEA (1988, 57 min) draws on unique propaganda film and archival material from the Khmer Rouge, Vietnam, and other sources.
The classic documentary exposes the nightmare of the revolution unleashed by Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge after their victory in 1975. It explains the paranoia and provocations that led to the Vietnamese invasion; the famine, the exodus, and the grinding war of resistance that followed.
