CAMBODIA DREAMS (2009, 90 min) by Stanley Harper took 18 years in the making. It is an amazing film in more ways than one. With some amazing original footage of a refugee camp and of a grandmother determined to reunite her family in the aftermath of a genocide-torn homeland without even being sure they are still alive after such a long time, this brilliantly shot and edited epic chronicles the misery and courage of normal people living through extraordinary times.
