* “BREAKING THE SILENCE” (2018, 60 min) is the first documentary to make the connection between sexual violence in Cambodia’s past and present. After decades of silence, growing numbers of Khmer Rouge survivors in Cambodia are challenging the stigma around sexual violence.
Greg Cahill’s award-winning short film THE GOLDEN VOICE (2006, 25 min) tells the harrowing story of Ros Sereysothea, who was Cambodia’s most beloved female rock singer until Pol Pot’s nightmarish regime took over. Her enchanting voice, once used to entertain, was now her only chance of survival.
