During a trip to Cambodia in 2001, Bill Gentry found himself in awe of the artistic history of the region, and he noticed that most of the children in Siem Reap’s impoverished villages had never had the means, or opportunity, to enjoy art. Colors of Cambodia’s aim was and is to develop the creative capabilities of Cambodia’s children. This is achieved through donations of materials, Art mentoring, and classroom teaching.

Colors of Cambodia has full-time staff and several volunteers assisting in the Colors of Cambodia Gallery, as well as teaching Art in local schools. Our Gallery is located near the Angkor Hospital for Children, in downtown Siem Reap. Advanced Art training classes are available to children showing special talent and desire. Art classes for visitors to Cambodia are also available.
