At MetaHouse an exciting new regular feature: from Thursday 24th October, every third Thursday of the month will be ‘KMF Movie Night’. KMF, one of Cambodia’s leading production companies, has made 10 cinema movies, several winning awards. The movies will be screened in the order in which they were made.
The first, ‘Staying Single When’, was a 2007 smash-hit romantic comedy starring Meng Bunlo and Duch Sophea. A huge favourite with Cambodian audiences, this ‘Search-For-A-Suitable-Wife’ story (English subtitles) is packed with humour – and surprises. It also features the first cameo appearance of one of Cambodian’s current top stars, Saray Sakana, then only sixteen years old.
