Ennio Morricone (1928–2020) was a prolific Italian composer, conductor, and trumpeter, widely considered one of the greatest film composers in history. Known for his iconic Spaghetti Western scores (e.g., The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), he scored over 400 films, winning two Academy Awards, three Grammys, and six BAFTAs during his illustrious career.
“Ennio” (2021) is also a documentary film about the composer, directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. It chronicles his life, from his early work to international fame, featuring interviews and archival footage.
