Event Details

Every Friday from 9pm, Meta’s Berlin Bar invites Cambodian audiences and international visitors to experience the legendary Berlin techno culture — a sound shaped by history, freedom, and reinvention.
Born in the wake of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, Berlin techno became far more than a musical genre. It emerged as the soundtrack of reunification, where East and West met on equal footing inside abandoned factories and industrial spaces, united by rhythm and creative expression. Defined by openness, anonymity, and radical artistic freedom, the movement grew into one of the world’s most influential electronic music scenes and was officially recognized in 2024 as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Today, that pioneering spirit resonates far beyond Germany. At Meta’s Berlin Bar in Phnom Penh, the pulse of Berlin’s underground finds a new home — celebrating cross-cultural dialogue through sound, dance, and shared experience, and connecting communities under the open Cambodian sky.
Berlin Street Food and German Beers for Sale.
