Phnom Penh’s legendary live act Electric Universe returns with a brand-new chapter: The Lost Universe. For 15 years, the project (founded by Berlin producer Nick Meta alongside US musicians Tim Sirois and James Speck) has fused live synthesizers, strings, grooveboxes, and DJ culture into hypnotic, psychedelic jam sessions. From stages across Cambodia to virtual performances in Second Life, the band has built a cult following.

Now evolving once again, The Lost Universe unites original members Tim Sirois (synthesizer) and Nick Meta (grooveboxes, FX) with French musicians Anthony Armenti (bass, percussion), Fabrice Marion (guitar), Cambodian DJ Sam TR8 (drum machines), poetic interventions by Antonio Pineda, and a final mix by DJ Tommy Schultz.

Expect electronic beats colliding with acoustic and electric instruments, layered with spoken word and immersive, trippy visuals.
