We celebrate half year of Italian Cinema in Phnom Penh Anticipating the Water Festival… We invite you to the 6th ITALIAN NIGHT… a free film screening Kidnapped (Italian: Rapito) accompanied by a cozy dinner in the garden. Organized for the Italian Cambodian Arts project at Meta House, in collaboration with film curator Davide Posca.

While watching the film, you can order and taste the homemade specialties served by the Italian restaurant Genova Trattoria. Dine in the garden following the screening. Supported by: Italian-Cambodian Business Association (ICBA). Kidnapped (Italian: Rapito) is a 2023 Italian-language historical drama film co-written and directed by Marco Bellocchio, about Edgardo Mortara, a young Jewish boy who was taken from his family by the Papal States and raised as a Catholic. It is loosely based on Daniele Scalise’s book Il caso Mortara. It is a co-production between Italy, France and Germany.
