oin us on for the second session of the “ImmersiveX” art exhibition where we continue to explore Cambodia’s incredible transformation through art and culture 50 years after Pol Pot’s accession to power in 1975. Cambodian master painter Svay Ken’s (b. 1933 in Takeo Province; d. 2008 in Phnom Penh) was a genocide survivor. His paintings illustrate scenes from everyday life in Cambodia that are often charged with the presence of unsettling forces beyond the picture frame.
Svay Ken’s brother Sanuch present this VR exhibition, which is more than just a historical reflection. It’s a celebration of creativity, resilience, and new beginnings. Cambodian singer Seyma will perform her song “The Hope”.
