At the age of 9, he was admitted to the Baogang Youth Palace to study the violin, and at 16, he began learning the guitar. In the 1990s, he was active on the nightclub and bar stages of Baotou and Chongqing as an accompaniment guitarist. As a documentary filmmaker, Su Qing continues to create soundtracks for his own films.

At Meta House, Su Qing will screen two of his short documentaries: “When Spring Comes” (2007, 20min)
“Industrial Times”+ “Menglun’s Time”, (2024, 35min).

This is followed by a live concert by Su Qing & Wei Hua (composer of numerous film and television soundtracks, singer, guitarist, and music produce).
